30 Best Canggu Cafes to eat & work – An Expat’s Guide
Are you looking for the best Canggu cafes either to work or simply enjoy a delicious meal? This town has a crazy number of them, ensuring that you will never have to go to the same one again. They have great vibes, beautiful rice fields views and scrumptious food! Eating your way through all the cafes is an absolute Canggu must do.
Lunch is actually my favourite meal and being based in Canggu, I work from cafes daily, so I’m delighted to give you a tour of the best cafes in Canggu!
1 Cinta Café – Best everything
Location – Berawa
Ambience
Cinta Cafe Bali is my favourite place in Berawa due to its cool vibes and chilled café playlist. It’s got a large sitting area with wooden furniture with cute cushions and lots of greenery hanging from the walls and ceiling. But my favourite part of the café is at the back, which is overlooking a colourful field. My only complaint is that sitting at the back was a little too warm even with the fans. However, it was a very hot and sunny day. If you get hot easily, try sitting at the front of the restaurant.
Work-friendly
If you’re planning to work from here, I recommend sitting at the back. The space there is a little secluded with minimal destructions and not many people passing by. I also felt safe to leave my laptop to use the restroom which is right there. The cafe has plenty of electricity sockets throughout and free flavoured water for the customers.
Food
The menu at Cinta Cafe Canggu is extensive and scrumptious and for that reason Cinta is one of the best Canggu cafes. It includes various juices, smoothie bowls and breakfast eggs. Some of the unique options include turmeric latte, beetroot humous with poaches eggs, avocado and freshly baked pitta bread and coconut water with spirulina. Twice a week, they do sangria and pizza night.

2 Nude Cafe Bali – Best staff
Location – Berawa
Ambience
Nude Cafe Canggu is famous for its extremely friendly staff that make you feel welcomed and cared for. The main part of the restaurant is open space with fans and greenery to keep you cool. There is also a smaller part that is air-conditioned.
Work-friendly
I found Nude Café to be excellent for working. They’ve got an air-conditioned room that tends to be quitter for people that want to focus on work. There are sockets, and staff refills your glass with delicious, minty and complimentary water. If you’re going to work, I recommend coming early in the morning or later in the afternoon as this room fills pretty quickly. There are some sockets available to plug your laptop.
Food
The simple yet delicious menu at Nude includes a good selection of smoothie bowls, eggs and muesli. Try chilli scrambled tofu or acai bowl and if you’re looking for lunch, try their vegan burger with sweet potato fries. Every Wednesday you can get a burger at Nude for only 40k IDR.

3 Milu by Nook Canggu – Best vibe
Location – Berawa
Ambience
The ambience at Milu by Nook Cafe is super cool. There is an inside, open space and outside space overlooking a rice field and with comfy mini sofas. There are fans throughout the venue but no air con. Milu by Nook is an excellent option for breakfast, lunch or a cheeky cocktail. Milu is open until late so you can enjoy a Bintang here too.
Work-friendly
Although the café is super cool, it is not the best place to work. The wifi is a little weak, and it can get hectic, so it depends where you sit and how easily you get distracted. Having said that I loved the vibe at Milu, and I will be back.
Food
The food at Milu by Nook is tasty and well-priced in comparison to other places. Try their fantastic smoothie bowls for 60k IDR. Other great options include various salads, bagels and burgers.

4 Ruko Cafe Canggu – Best temperature
Location – Berawa
Ambience
Ruko Canggu is a relatively small and quiet café with a pleasantly fully air coned interior, which also means no traffic noise from the street. Staff is very friendly and café playlist nice on the ear. Extra points for cool wall art. They also donate 5% to children’s charity for every coffee sold.
Work-friendly
Seats have cushions, and there is plenty of electric sockets throughout the room. The internet speed is good, and there is free water to keep you hydrated while you’re working.
Food
Menu prices at Ruko Café include tax and services charges which is always great, especially if you’re on the budget. The menu consists of all the day breakfast choices, and the lunch menu has a selection of salads, sandwiches and burgers. Try their smashed avocado on sourdough bread which comes with two poached eggs and crumbs of feta cheese, and you get two pieces of bread for 65k IDR.

Breakfast Deal – 80k IDR includes a regular coffee and a choice of smash avocado toast, pancake or omelette.
5 Matcha Cafe Bali- Best matcha
Location – Berawa
Ambience
Matcha café is a small café with open space and only a few tables. It is located on a busy road which can be its downside if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. At the same time, there is a small temple behind and a greenfield by the road which gives it a nice, relaxed feel.
Work-friendly
Despite the busy street, I actually enjoyed working here. The space is open with some ceiling fans that keep you cool. There are electric sockets available and free water refills. The wifi is good too.
Food
As the name suggests, Matcha Café offers some great matcha either in hot or iced versions! All prices include tax and service charges. Try their matcha ice creams, a cinnamon swirl with a matcha sauce or matcha vegan Nutella ice cream!

6 The Shady Shack Canggu- Best healthy vegan cafe Canggu
Location – Batu Balong
Ambience
The Shady Shack Bali is situated on a side street overlooking a beautiful green field, and it’s surrounded by palms and greenery. It is one of the most popular cafes in Canggu where you can spot some Instagram celebs.
Work-friendly
It is a cute spot with plenty of greenery but because it’s outside and perhaps not ideal for a laptop day. I also found that on a sunny day, it felt a little too hot. For these reasons, I recommend coming early morning with your laptop fully charged. Free water is available, and I haven’t used the wifi here so can’t tell whether it’s good or not.
Food
This is the place for a plant-based lunch buddha bowl! The portions are massive, and the lunch and dinner selection is extensive. They also have tasty smoothie bowls, salad and juices. The Shady Shack serves vegan Canggu best food and is the best cafe Canggu offers for vegans!

7 The Avocado Factory Canggu – Best avocado options
Location – Batu Balong
Ambience
Avocado Factory Bali has an open space with ceiling fans and an upstairs area. Overlooks a small field and has a cosy corner with a cute sitting and lovely wall art.
Work-friendly
I recommend choosing the upstairs for work and bringing your own water bottle as although you can get free water; it’s not something that staff autonomically offers. The wifi quality is good, and the vibe is chilled.
Food
If you love avocado as much as I do, you’re in for a treat as at this café every menu option comes with a wholesome avocado! They offer a 15% discount on coffee and drinks if you bring your own cap. But I must say, the café is one of the priciest in Canggu. I had a tofu buddha bowl which was lovely but again a little expensive.

8 CRATE Cafe Canggu – Biggest portions
Location – Batu Balong
Ambience
CRATE Canggu is a little different from other cafes I’ve visited in Canggu. It’s got a large sitting area what appears to be a warehouse opened from both sides. It seems to be very busy, especially at Canggu breakfast and lunchtime with staff frantically trying to serve the crowd hangry for the Bali breakfast staples . You have to order at the counter, and they only take cash at the time I visited. Luckily there is a working ATM just around the corner on the main street. There are various low tables with comfy cushioned armchairs and a few wooden larger tables.
Work-friendly
If you’re hoping to work here, the best tables are the large wooden ones that you share with other people. My favourite is the one facing away from everyone onto a lovely green rice field and a cute lining palm tree. Bring your own water and charge your laptop as these luxuries are not available here but you can rely on their WIFI speed.
Food
The food is definitely the winning aspect when it comes to CRATE. The menu selection is vast, and pricing really simple – everything is 55k IDR with no hidden cost. Try one of their super bowls, smash avocado or a giant croissant filled with goodness or massive salad bowls full of greens. If you’re after the biggest and best breakfast Canggu has on offer, Crate is for you! They also have freshly baked cakes by the counter for less than 30k IDR.

9 TMO Coffee Bali – Best budget choice
Location – Batu Balong

TMO is a tinny café with no fancy décor. There are only a few seats with cushions and high tables and two chairs overlooking the outside street.
Work Friendly
My work vibe was actually good here. The seats are comfy, you get free water, and the WIFI was good too.
Food
The menu is small and the prices very affordable compared to other, more fancy cafes. They serve smoothie bowls for only 30k IDR, salads, avo toast and some Indonesian options. I recommend having a banana pancake here, which comes with a plate full of fresh fruit and honey.

10 Secret Spot Cafe – Best cakes and excellent to work

Secret Spot Cafe Canggu is a cute place on a quiet street with very friendly staff and a welcoming vibe. The venue has got ceiling fans inside, 3 different rooms and another sitting area in the inside courtyard.
Work-friendly
I found this is an excellent place to work with good WIFI, plenty of electricity sockets and comfy cushioned seats. It is quiet, and there are always other people working on their laptops which gives a nice chilled vibe and minimal distraction.
Food
Breakfast is served until 4 pm, and prices start from 55k IDR, lunch prices average at 72k. They’ve got a mad selection of delicious cakes and waffles and good quality coffee. Prices are exclusive of tax and service charges in this Canggu cafe Bali. Try their banana chocolate brownie. Omg is so good! And if you like coconut milk, you’ll like this place because you can have it in your coffee for no extra charge.

11 KYND Community Cafe Bali – Best for Instagram photos & awesome vegan food

Kynd Cafe is actually located a little away from Canggu towards Seminyak, but you can get here in around 15 minutes.
I’ve visited Kynd Community Bali because of its fame on Instagram, and my expectations were low. But it turned out to be a really cool place with lots of space and a fantastic chilled vibe. There is an inside space with fans and AC (which wasn’t really working that well when I was there) and an outside yard with cute palm trees and a long bench under a pink wall, which you probably have seen many times on your Instagram feed. If you’re looking for the most Instagrammable Canggu places to eat, this is it!
Work-friendly
I was very surprised that Kynd Community Canggu is such a great place to work. It’s not too busy (although that probably depends), and there are two sets of benches with cushions and single tables where you can set yourself up for a working day. There are also multiple sockets where you can charge up your laptop. The only thing that I didn’t like is that they don’t offer free water, so bring your water bottle with you.
Food
Food is a little pricier than average but is spot on. If you’re a foodie like me and prepare to pay a little extra, you’ll love it here. Try the chocolaty smoothie that is to die for. The food is a mixture of world cuisines, all 100% plant-based. On the menu, you’ll find Ramen, a Mexican burrito bowl and Indonesian curry. Kynd is hands down the best cafe in Canggu for vegans and one of the best Canggu Bali restaurants.

12 Café Coach – Best for an upmarket experience
Location – Batu Balong (by Canggu shortcut )
Ambience
Café Coach only just recently opened and offers a high-end dining experience in its beautiful interiors. Think plush designer armchairs and sofas and soothing music playing in the background. There is also a bookshelf with an interesting selection of self-growth books and a card game where you draw a card and answer a question – one of the self-awareness sort.
Work-friendly
This Canggu Bali restaurant is also great for work. There is a whole separate working space upstairs which is excellent for putting your head down and going through your to-do list. Both upstairs and downstairs are fully air-conditioned with plenty of sockets to plug your laptop and fast speed internet. Staff refills your glass with complimentary water, which is also an added bonus.
Food
The food is definitely on a more pricey side than other Canggu cafes Bali, but boy, it is so worth it! The portions are relatively small, but the food is top-notch, and you will finish your meal fully satisfied. Try one of their salads for lunch or if you’re staying longer, try their pasta dish with prawns, parmesan and sourdough garlic bread which is to die for! They also serve a range of speciality cafes such as taro latte, beetroot or turmeric latte. Menu prices are exclusive of tax and service. If you’re a food snob – this is Canggu best cafe!

13 The Flow Canggu– Best for everyday dining
Location – Pereran
Ambience
Being based in Bali, this is the place where I spent most of my working days. The Flow is by far the favourite café to go to every day. The venue is situated on a quiet street in Pereran, and if you’re looking for a place where expats hang out, this is it. The dining area is outdoor, under a roof, and is fan-cooled. The staff are really friendly, and there is plenty of space to sit on the rustic wood furniture.
Work-friendly
The Flow is an excellent choice for a day spent working. Come early in the morning to reserve one of the seats along the long bench with cushions. There is plenty of ceiling fans along that bench to keep you cool while working. Multiple sockets are available, and staff serves free mint flavour water. The internet connection slows down during the busy lunch hour, but it is still suitable to use if you don’t require a crazy speedy connection.
Food
Food at the Flow is exceptionally well priced compared to other cafes Canggu Bali and comes with the tax and service already included in the price you see on the menu. On top of the good price, the meals are delicious, and portions are substantial. Try avocado on toast which comes with a piece of fried tofu and generous two slices of sourdough bread, or their famous falafel salad bowl. They also have some great cakes and delicious breakfast choices, such as creamy porridge with fruit. If you’re looking for great Canggu food that won’t break the bank, look no further!

14 Doppio Cafe – Best for fabulous, affordable food
Location – Batu Balong (by Canggu shortcut)
Ambience
Doppio Cafe Canggu has an airy white and blue interior with wicker chairs and tiled flooring. It is a great breakfast or lunch spot at what time the place is buzzing with hungry customers.
Work-friendly
For those that want to work in Doppio, there are benches with cushions, free water and electric sockets to make sure you don’t run out of battery. While it is a suitable place to do some work, it gets a little busy around midday and a little hot as the seating area is entirely outdoor.
Food
Doppio Cafe has excellent menu options, including scrumptious smoothie bowls and awesome stack pancakes with plenty of fruit garnish. Doppio is my favourite place for a scrumptious breakfast Canggu. Lunch options are also great and include healthy salad bowls, avo toasts and burgers, all very reasonably priced. Doppio also has a great selection of freshly squeezed juice at reasonable prices.

15 Neighbourhood Food Café – Best chic cafe with wine
Location – Berawa

The Neighbourhood Cafe is one of the more chic restaurants Canggu has on offer, located on the main street leading to Canggu Berawa Beach (one of the best beaches in Canggu for clubs and nightlife). It’s a fantastic spot to hang out in the afternoons. Me and my bestie love this place for an afternoon chicky glass of wine (they have daily happy hours on certain drinks). The inside space is fully air-conditioned and has sofas to sit on. There is a bar and a cake counter that is always very tempting. You can also sit on some comfy seats outside, in front of the café under a large roof and divided by some greenery from the busy Berawa road.
Work-friendly
Neighbourhood Bali is a great place to work. Comfy seats, plenty of electric sockets, free-flowing water and most importantly, good air conditioning are all the factors that make this place enjoyable to get some stuff done.
Food
The food at Neighbourhood is top-notch. Made of locally sourced ingredients, their artisan dishes are well balanced and will definitely leave you satisfied. Try their delicious kimchi toastie that comes with sweet potato fries, or for a healthy lunch, have their harvest bowl, which is packed with wholesome goodness such as homemade hummus and roasted pumpkin. They also serve a selection of gourmet cocktails and wines.

16 Milk and Madu Canggu– Best pizza in town
Location – Berawa
Ambience
Milk and Madu Cafe Canggu has a sizeable outdoor seating area with ceiling fans. It is a very popular place in Canggu so expect busy vibes. Milk and Madu is a good lunch spot and excellent dinner place too, with their theme nights and wine.
Work-friendly
If you’re planning to do some work there, come in the morning to reserve a spot on one of the benches on the side that comes with cushions and electric plugs. The water is free, but sometimes the place gets a little busy, so if you need complete peace and quiet, it may not be the best café to work for you.
Food
Milk and Madu had an extensive menu starting with breakfast options all the way to the dinner menu, including cocktails and wine list. They are particularly renowned for their stone-oven baked fresh pizza that you can enjoy 2 for 1 on Tuesday and Saturdays and pasta club on Fridays. At lunchtime, try one of their awesome large salads that come with a piece of sourdough bread and are packed with colourful veggies. If you can be tempted, Milk and Madu has also a cake counter, oh boy!

17 Human Bean Bali – Best for off beaten track experience
Location – Pereran

Sitting in Human Bean Cafe feels like sitting in a tropical garden. The café is situated on a tranquil street in Pereran, and the seating area is surrounded by trees and lush greenery under a bamboo roof. It is an excellent ‘off-beaten track café’.
Work-friendly
The Human Bean Canggu is an excellent spot for work. It is away from any busy street and has some comfy bench seats with cushions. Plugs aren’t available everywhere, so if you need a charging point, check it out before choosing your seat. There is also help yourself free water, which is ideal if you plan to stay here all day to work.
Food
Human Bean has some excellent all-day brunch options that are very well priced. Try their creamy truffle scrambled eggs that come with freshly baked sourdough bread, or if you’re there for lunch, don’t miss their halloumi salad bowl that is so yummy! If you’re into speciality coffees, you won’t be disappointed either – try charcoal latte or maple brew.

18 Honey Canggu – Best for quiet lunch
Location – Pereran
Ambience
Honey is one of the quiet breakfast and lunch spots in Pereran, right by a field. It’s got a simple décor with airy outdoor seating. If you’re looking for a non-touristy café with expats and locals hanging out, Honey is one of them.
Work-friendly
Honey is a quiet place to work with plenty of seats on a long bench running along the venue and overlooking the countryside. There are plenty of electricity sockets and complimentary refillable water to keep you hydrated while you’re working away. The internet quality is adequate. The only thing is that on a very sunny day, it may get a little hot as it’s all outdoors with no AC.
Food
The menu has an extensive list of fresh juices and smoothies, healthy salads and bowls. The highlight of the menu is peanut butter, and banana on toasted sourdough splashed with honey.

19 Peloton Supershop Bali – Best for quality vegan food
Location – Berawa
Ambience
Peloton Supershop is located off the busy street in Berawa. If you’re after an Instagrammable cafe, this is not one of them. But, if you’re a foodie and enjoy quality ingredients and beautifully presented scrumptious dishes, you are at the right place.
Work-friendly
Peloton Cafe Bali is an excellent place to work. There are plenty of comfy seats, sockets and complimentary water. The only issue is, depending on where you’re sat, it may be a little hot.
Food
Peloton Bali is a true gem when it comes to yummy food. Their menu is plant-based and boasts a fantastic selection of colourful smoothie bows – pink, green, blue – you choose. They also have a range of super healthy buddha bowl style lunch choices to choose from. If you’re into speciality coffees, try their velvet latte with beautiful pink colour and if you couple it with one of their tasty cakes, you will reach heaven.

20 I am Vegan Babe Cafe – Best vegan Mexican food in town
Location – Batu Balong
Ambience
I am Vegan Babe Bali is located off the main road, on a quiet street in Batu Balong area, near Echo Beach. It is a relatively new place (when I first visited, they didn’t even have a sign) with downstairs and upstairs seating, half-open with ceiling fans.
Work-friendly
I am Vegan Babe is a great place to work. I recommend choosing one of the seats upstairs on one of the comfy benches by the wall that come with plenty of cushions. There are plenty of sockets, and it’s actually not too hot because the seats are set way back from the street. The added bonus of sitting upstairs is a nice view of the field.
Food
The menu at I am vegan babe is obviously 100% plant-based, and the selection is huge! If you’re not vegan (yet), this is a great place to appreciate and enjoy vegan cuisine. The café specialises in Mexican vegan dishes such as burritos and bowls but also have some vegan international cuisine. On top of that, they have an excellent choice of fully loaded pancakes and creamy smoothie bowls with different toppings and cakes.

21 The Common Bali – Best breakie burrito in town
Location – Batu Balong

The Common Cafe Canggu has recently been refurbished, and what was an outdoor café now is all enclosed and air-conditioned place with some ceiling fans too. The interiors are modern and minimalistic. Space is not too big and is furnished with wooden tables and benches.
Work-friendly
If you’re planning to work here, come early and sit on one of the more comfortable seats along two walls. There are plenty of electric plugs, complimentary water and adequate wifi speed. The Common is a relatively small café which means it is never too loud or crowded, which makes it a good place to focus.
Food
The Common has some good diverse food options on their menu, including vegan, vegetarian and meat options. One of the best things on the menu is a breakie burrito packed full of goodness. The only condition to enjoy it is to come hungry as the burrito is really filling. Other awesome menu positions include the commoners bowl with whipped tahini and crusted tofu or fish. Prices are subject to tax and service charges.

22 Rise and Shine Canggu – Best for colourful sandwiches

Rise and Shine Cafe is situated on the main road in Batu Balong, with most seats being outside in front of the café. It is a good spot to grab a quick, tasty breakfast and people watch.
Work-friendly
For the best working experience, choose a seat inside on the long beach along the wall with some comfy cushions and electric plugs.
Food
Rise and Shine Café boasts a great selection of breakfast favourites – colourful smoothie bowls, overflowing juices, and various toasts and sandwiches on freshly baked sourdough bread.

23 The Loft Canggu – Best waffles in town

The Loft is a small chain with restaurants in Uluwatu and Ubud. The Loft Café in Canggu is located right on the busy street, which makes it a little loud, but at the same time, there is a good vibe, comfy sofas where you can chill and not to mention some great food.
Work-friendly
If you’re planning to get some work done, the additional upstairs space is air-conditioned and much quieter. There is good wifi, some plugs available throughout the venue and free-flowing complimentary water to keep you hydrated while you’re focused on the important things.
Food
The Loft has a diverse menu, including vegan, vegetarian fish and meat options. Try their signature dish is loft waffles that come with different sauces and generous fruit garnish! Other options on the menu include breakfast egg dishes such as egg benedict with smoked salmon, smoothie bowls and a selection of vegan treats.

24 The Sloth Bali Canggu – Best takeaway menu
Location – Batu Balong

The Sloth Canggu is located off the main road and is one of the best cafes Canggu has on offer for vegans. With airy white decor, it is a cute breakfast spot. The Sloth Café is mainly known for being an excellent takeaway restaurant, but it is also a great place to pop in for breakfast or lunch.
Work-friendly
The Sloth is suitable to do some work done. It is set back from the main road and not too hot. There is a help-yourself water tap where you can refill your glass whenever you need it; however, it lacks electric sockets, so come with your laptop charged up.
Food
The Sloth is a fully vegan café with an extensive menu. Their smoothie bowls are one of Canggu best breakfast choice – they are huge, tasty and very affordable (I used to have them every day delivered to my villa). Other meals include vegan meatballs and mash, vegan schnitzel, burgers and veggies boxes. The Sloth also has an excellent selection of gluten-free cakes and vegan treats.

25 The Hula – Best for gourmet breakfast

Ambience
The Hula is one of the newly opened Canggu restaurants in the non-touristy part of the city – Pereran. It is an excellent spot for a Sunday brunch or a lazy afternoon, chilling on one of their sofas. The Hula has a chic, arty feel with minimalist furnishing and décor.
Work-friendly
The Hula is an excellent place to work, with plenty of seats and some more comfy seats along the wall with air conditioning and ceiling fans. There are some plugs available, complimentary water and adequate wifi.

26 Brunch Club Bali– Best for social meetups

Brunch Club Berawa is a great place to meet up with friends for brunch and spend a lazy afternoon on their comfy sofas overlooking a field on the other side of a quiet street.
Work-friendly
Brunch Club Bali is not the best place to work. The cafe gets really busy, and there are a lot of children messing about.
Food
The Brunch Club menu is diverse and includes many truly indulgent choices to leave you full and happy. Try their scrumptious chocolate smoothie bowl with crunchy toppings or their signature fluffy pancakes. For savoury choices, have a beetroot houmous toastie, one of their huge burgers or a Mexican salad bowl. They also serve great smoothies and tasty milkshakes. This is a day off from your healthy diet!
This Canggu restaurant is not ideal for vegetarians as many of their best dishes include meat. Prices on the menu are exclusive of tax and service charges.

27 Superfood Canggu – Best for make-your-own salad

Superfood Cafe is located minutes walk to Canggu Beach, between Berawa and Batu Balong. It has an outdoor seating area with tropical vibes.
Work-friendly
I haven’t really worked here myself, but there is plenty of seats and the places never feels overcrowded, so it may be suitable to do a couple of hours of laptop work.
Food
Superfood Bali is best known for a make-your-own salad bowl where you have full control over what goes into your salad. Other menu options include healthy breakfast such as protein pancakes and chia pudding and coconut fruit bowl. If you’re not into salads, try their tasty burritos.

28 Guru Canggu – Best for floating breakfast
Location – Berawa
Ambience
Guru Canggu is a boutique hostel, not a café, but I included it here because it has some great vibes and fantastic breakfast and lunch options. The whole café area is tastefully decorated with a nautical, bohemian, feminine twist, and the place is absolute eye candy.
Work-friendly
Guru Canggu is an excellent spot to do some work. There is plenty of comfy seats and sockets. It’s quiet, and if you need some extra inspiration, you can sit in their garden or take a dip in the pool.
Food
Guru Canggu has some incredibly colourful all-day breakfast options. The taxes and services charges are included, which is also a bonus. Options include pancakes, eggs your way with a fresh sourdough and buddha bowl style lunch dishes. Oh, and you can have your breakfast floating in the pool!

29 Amolas Cafe Canggu – Best for quiet space to work
Location – Batu Balong
Ambience
This canggu cafe is situated in a tranquil neighbourhood away from all the hustle and bustle of Canggu. Visit if you need some peace and quiet to think, work or meet someone. There are two indoor seating areas, both fully air-conditioned and also an outside area. Unfortunately, in one room, they allow smoking which is a big shame. There is a pool behind in the garden, part of the guesthouse where you can also stay.
Work-friendly
Amolas is an excellent spot to get things done. It is quiet, has plenty of space and comfortable seats and plugs and an affordable menu to keep you going all day. There is no complimentary water so make sure to bring your own.
Food
The café boasts an extensive menu with low prices. They have a good selection of juices and smoothies, sandwiches, burgers and Indonesian dishes. If you have a sweet tooth, you won’t be disappointed as they have a great selection of cakes starting at 15k IDR.

30 Healthy Ubud – Best affordable healthy vegan food
Location – Batu Balong
Ambience
Healthy Ubud Canggu is a tinny café situated right opposite Samadi Market. It only has a few seats overlooking the busy street, but it’s an excellent place for a quick and healthy lunch. They also do take away food.
Work-friendly
Healthy Ubud is not ideal for working. It’s tiny and overlooks the busy street.
Food
This is a healthy and fully vegan café, so whatever you choose, it will be good for you. Everything is prepared from scratch and is packed with vitamins and enzymes. Try their vegan Ceaser salad or their nasi campur coupled with a dark green juice.
