Bali is exceptionally diverse for a relatively small island, with so many exciting and unique places to stay that make it almost impossible to visit them all. I have visited Bali many times and lived on the island for a while now and only just managed to experience the best areas to stay in Bali.
Kuta or Seminyak are great for Bali’s first-timers and for a great party vibe; Ubud is the island’s cultural centre and has some best eco lodging in Bali, whereas Uluwatu is famous for its world-class surfing spots. Hotel rates in Bali vastly differ, which means that you’ll find something good whatever your budget may be.
This post is a comprehensive guide to all the best areas in Bali and some best hotels in Bali.
